Re: New Set of Monitors( Share experiences)
I can't speak for the rokit 6, Ive got the 5's and my only issue with them is the low end. But this is to be expected considering how tiny they are. Seems like the 6 would be perfect, basically a 5 with some more low.

You are happy doing it, you prefer doing it. Don't worry about it. Its not like you wake up, snort coke and than go to bed. You are being productive. Flexing your creative mind. Enjoy it.

Sample organization
What up DSF fam
How are you guys organizing your samples? Ive got a folder called samples, and in it looks like a shit storm, I've got shit everywhere completely unorganized.
Do you guys organize by pack? Type of sound?
Let me know how you guys are keeping it clean.

'Ah I can't get a good mix, what do I do?'
Uhm, sidechain, multi-band, analogue tape, compression.
No no, see this isn't a mix down thread.
This is a "how do I balance a heavy hitting snare and kick WHILE maintaining a proper mix.

Getting fat drums without eating your headroom!
Hey dubstepforum fam, been a while since I asked a question.
Ive been making a lot of tunes lately and realizing my drums are rather thin. When I listen to other peoples tunes their tracks are well mixed and their drums sound fat as hell!
I seem to struggle with getting my track loud enough and ...

I just can't bring myself to PAY for sample packs.
Over the years I've bought Logic 9, Logic X, Massive, Battery and as of yesterday Reason 7.

Chance that you'll get struck by lighting in a given year is estimated to be 1/500,000.
That videos were watched by 7 million people.
Out of that 7 million people only a few will be successful.
If few is 4, then chance of being successful after watching that video is 4/7,000,000 = 1/1,750,000 ...
