Re: owie gotta boom boom (major chords)

cut everything out of the kick below 75 hz ish to leave enough room for the sub with no clash. Do the same if the snare is hitting under 75 (which it usually shouldnt be) peak the snare at around 200 hz to punch through the mix. For your midrange bass, again you can cut out under 75 hz so your sub c...

Re: (FEEDBACK)Narkus-Radiation

Nice track, nice wobbles aswell, cant help but thinking you should completely choose between dark/sub/melodic and filth for this one. The heaviness of the bass and the atmosphere created by the background synths just doesnt seem to click too well. Might just be me but anyway its a good track, well d...

Re: [FEEDBACK] DSM-1 (Metal/DS hybrid)

sounding good but the wobbles need to sit at the right frequency to not clash with the guitar, suggesting low octave slightly distorted wobbles (ie stacked square, bit of distortion and fx). and you could get an insane drop combination with the electric guitar and wobbles. but liking the tune in all...

Re: Dj Chato (Working on a Track Need Feed Back!!)

bit repetitive and boring, not gonna lie. also thin in alot of parts of the track. These days you wont cut it with just a wobble and some drums.

Re: Kid Robotik - Who??

sounding nice and mellowed man and tbh i disagree with the guy above (sorry) i think that the space between the sounds in this (even if unintentional) gives it a nice feel and atmosphere. When the vocal shot comes in though it does sound a bit fucked for some reason. Thats it though, i'd grab a 320 ...

Re: Powder - Ysae [FREE DOWNLOAD 320]

sorry but the intro needs some more depth to it somehow, sweeps, fx, percussion, sub stabs? it just sounds too basic which can be good sometimes but in this it sounds sketchy. also the first bline you have after the drop could be nice and cheeky, reckon a little high pitched relaxed melody could do ...

Anyways i didnt want to go for the pure filth, i wanted a better sound out of the track, so lo and behold, if i can get some feedback on this remix it would be appreciated. here we go: http://soundcloud...

Re: E-fence - sick men

just from initial listening, the snare definately needs to be changed, or you need to add a nice reverb to it to make it sit better in the mix. also its more of a creativity thing so its up to you but the drop just feels a tiny bit empty and i reckon a nice little melody could be put in, maybe a bel...

Re: Zerberoz - Overdup - second round :D

great leading up to the drop, just dont think the bassline sounds good chopped up as much as it is, doesnt suit the rest of the track and the melody, this feels like a track that would benefit from just a nice deep sub coming up under the melody, sorry but the wobbles just dont suit it at all. aroun...

Re: Hey everyone, complete dubstep/techno NOOB here! Need h

dont forget a pair of monitors, you can get very good monitors at cheap (ish) prices these days if you look around. and also was that $400 for a whole setup? because if it was, like mentioned before all youre going to be able to buy is a DAW and a midi keyboard. for just under $1000 you could probab...

Re: Straye - Automata of the DEPTHS (Crazy Heavy BRUTAL Dubs

very nice, good that you have managed to make it sound unique considering the type of dubstep it is and the sheer volume flowing around these days. maybe try and add a bit of volume automation on your sub under the wobbles, would be good to hear the sub rise up and down quickly occasionaly in the tr...

Re: Ponch BIOHAZARD Dubstep (Check out my tune!)

not judging your knowledge at all, but sounds like you need a bit better music theory, some of those wobbles are just jumping at random intervals which makes it sound a bit random and there is no melody in the background when the wobbles come in. The part when your building up an atmosphere after th...
