Re: "Brostep" Drum Samples

u dun need anyhting else but vengeance. if u get all of the packs u got like 1000 000 samples...
i can barely make music with vengeance sample, they are way to processed, over compressed, unmixable, in a word simply ugly

use compressor, layers, equaliser, filter, transient shapper, enveloppe ...

Re: Should I get Pro-L (a limiter)?

Pro-L and Pro-Q are my favorite fabfilter plugins..

i make my mix peak at -6 db, then i load Pro-L and set it for +8db, and i'm pretty happy with the result

Re: Can you Sidechain a EQ point?

why don't you wan't to use automation ?

whith automation you have more control on the curve, and you can change the frequency down on the synth beetween snare step and kick step

Re: Do you use just one 808 patch for the sub bass or severa

sin wav, pitch -36, filter 20 hz / 300 hz = sub for synth

sin wav, pitch -36, filter 50 hz / 200 hz, short decay = sub for kick

my main question is should i really spend time on shaping the sub or just keep it basic, and if i was using a wobble should i make the sub fit around that or just keep ...

Re: Functional Setup??

same with the maschine. i honestly can't see why you'd use it or an mpc unless you're old or a hipster candy-ass.
maschine is a lot more than pad...

when i used cubase making music was a lot about work..

no i use maschine and making music is a lot about fun !

if you need a daw => cubase
if you need a groovebox feeling dao => maschine or live
if you need a synth => massive
