Re: Basic midi controller for beginners
I would recommend either an Alesis QX49 or an M-Audio Oxygen 49, these are both affordable midi controllers and will have all the features you need to get the show off the road.

Re: Beginner midi equipment
Honestly, if you are just starting get yourself a relatively cheap midi with faders and knobs, an m-audio oxygen 25/49 or an AKAI MPK 25/49 is more than enough. I would say the first things to buy would be a cheap keyboard, decent studio monitors, working software, and maybe a cheap soundcard. Try n...

Re: Creative Sub Bass Processing
use an envelope with fast attack/decay with no sustain to modulate (lightly) the pitch of the sine wave up. this will create the thump you hear in sub basses. EX. if you are using massive set envelope 3 to the pitch of the oscillator containing the sine wave, from here have it modulate the pitch of ...

Re: Drum Samples or How to make drums please?
Great way to synthesize a kick drum is to use a sine wave + square wave -> Low pass the waves so that the sine is subby and the square adds a few harmonics to fatten the sound a bit. All you really need to do is adjust the envelope to have a fast attack and decay, with no sustain or release. Play ar...

Re: Probe - Variable
bassline is great. sounds really good. but like daft tnuc said the weird beat drop at 0:55 just does not fit. maybe you should use some more tension on the buildup, just an advise. but the bass is impressive. sounds... professional. how did you made it? listen to my tune that i posted yesterday, my...
