what if I sample in my EMU SP1200 sampler or a Casio SK1 keyboard and "repitch" ? Reading your rules this is allowed but it will result in a glitchy 8bit sound.

hi

the latency of your DAW is determined by the soundcard too. Pro equipment provides better drivers and the A/D converters sound also.
Dont know if anyone mentioned that yet.
