Believe[d]-JuxT PLEASE?!?!?
PLEASE?!?!?! The mix is low, and all that but I'm really (or was, I've just about quit) trying to get my vocal chopping and such down and I really think I had something here. The song may not be great but it's my first song that I felt HAD hope. So please people, if someone could give me some feedba...

Re: How to Make Epic Soundscapes (without timestretch)
Ummm, does anyone know how to get that kind of background "by the highway" sound....? It's been driving me nuts (similar to Burial's Untrue introduction).

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011
So I think I got something now. Someone mentioned my sub bass being out which at first was intentional. However, I realized it was too dissonant to make a proper song and so I think I wiggled around enough to still get weird but make it work. I dunno. Thanks for all the help, I don't mean to be a na...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011
@captainplanet-- How's about maybe doing some kind of build-up bit, throw in some crazy sample, whether it be vocal or some cool sound, and then drop it into that? I don't know, just a thought.

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011
This is an update on the track I posted earlier. I'm still feeling like my mixing is just awful but when I try to bring all the levels up, I start doing a giant run-around that leads back to the same levels, etc. as before. Anyway, if anyone could give me the vibe they get with the song and some sor...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011
@FRasch- I know the mix is low, but I don't exactly know how to put the volume up without clipping (I just started doing this a week ago really). I can try compressing everything I suppose. Hm.

@tbunreal- Thanks! I'm gonna give that a try and see that helps develop it.

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011
Bottom of page 11 are my three feedbacks. Here's more to what I posted earlier (which hasn't received feedback so I figured a more updated version would be better for feedback anyhow...) I'm hitting a very fast wall and it's only my first real venture into this stuff...oh dear... http://soundcloud.c...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for February, 2011
@wabble-Your track screwed my mind sideways. Maybe a little more volume on dat derr bass? (I'm quite low end burn out though... :?) @NICORISONE- Weight really drew me in, love the bouncing feel with bass fall in there. Maybe let the bass bounce a little through there? (I'm nothing BUT a rut so I kno...

Work In Progress 2/9/11
Second track, also a work in progress. Need thoughts. And tell me if I'm insane, I keep hearing someone saying "Ready" in the background...

[FEEDBACK] Meet Frank... (first track)
Hello everyone. I am extremely new not only to music production (with DAWs) but I'm also a bit of a neophyte to Dubstep. I have taken a real interest in the Dubstep that is Burial (which I've read many of you are familiar with). This is my first track that I've ever done and I honestly have NO IDEA ...
