Thanks again Basic... I know my way around a synth like the front of my dick, and my many mixer tracks are for automation and easy sculpting.
I'd post a reece, but that would come off as try hard lol.
Have you tried multiple distortions? It can sometimes make your already perfect reece perfecter ...

Re: FL Mixer Faders Questions
Point taken, I just can't seem to take a systematic approach to dubstep/dnb with process heavy reeces/instruments :/ It always ends up being a mess of 50+ channels.
But I'll try to see if I can improve earlier on lol.
Thanks.

FL Mixer Faders Questions
A few questions about the FL mixer.
I've heard gain staging is good to avoid digital clipping, but why does this matter unless individual mixer channels clip in FL?
To me, even if I drive a mixer channel 24+ db, when I lower the master output it doesn't sound distorted. :/ Thoughts?

Yeah, the reward is from knowing the software.
If you check out tutorials and read slowly through the whole manual, you'll learn how to make better sounds than you do with massive within, let's say, 2 weeks.
4 Weeks and you've mastered it... 6 months later and you'll be unstoppable.

Re: Pure Hype - Dubs [3 Tracks]
In hope of sounding redundant, you need more bass - Better yet, reece!
Stop using massive if you're using it.. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, but you're just not getting enough punch/depth in your reeces.
FM8 or Z3ta+ then some Ohm distortion/Amplitube, freq split, flange/chorus/phaser ...

I'll be brutally honest with you, and that's because I see you've got potential and someone needs to tell you so you won't get stuck for a long period of time.
Listen to the pro songs, can you hear their reeces? Do you hear the fullness and the movement?
I'd take a few weeks just trying to make ...

Like the hihats, how they interact in the track.
Nice feedback type reece.
The BD is awesome.
It gets a little too childish at 1.25 for my taste... but the drop after that at 1.48 is fucking awesome!

wow, i expected something bad but this is really really cool. not normally my type of dubstep but awesome nonetheless.
when it fades out there's a clap right? if it's not a clap, make it a clap ;) you should really finish this, send it to some labels etc.

Automated LOFI WOOOO!
I love the random reeces and how you play with stereo and mono..
IMO the snare could hit harder, you sound pro enough to know how to do that so I won't explain.
Also a little but too much/harsh lofi, go with some distortion if you want those facemelting treble frequencies ...

Re: [FEEDBACK] Zoobi - Poltergeist. Atmospheric darkness!
Good production man.
Deep sounds, never really heard anything like it.
I have to totally agree with Hasezwei with the common element part, something on both drops.
The track sounds dark, like Silent Hill should have this on their soundtrack.

Ahhh man 'o man. That sounds rather rad.
The drop wasn't disappointing at all. It sounds like a mix between hard dubstep and neurofunk.
6 months of production for this? I give you 5 stars sir. (Hah, not saying the tune took you 6 months)

Re: [FEEDBACK] Nothing Left (first attempt)
First attempt at dubstep or production in general?
Sounds wicked considering.
I'd filter the lows - low mid with a HP filter of the long sweeping bass that goes solo in the end (just use automation to filter the bass and low mids from it when it's playing with the other reece).

This one is a WIP that I've been at for a few days and I would appreciate your feedback for a fresh perspective and of course some troubleshooting.
