Question / Images [Grimey/Industrial/Breaks]

Hey!
Just released two dark, grimy tracks with an industrial tinge dedicated to William S. Burroughs on his 100th birthday. I don't usually do music with beats and it's been months since I've been producing, so I'd be interested to hear some thoughts.

Hullo! I've been really into this kind of sound that's been out lately, does it have a name? I would love to have some suggestions for more stuff like this... :)

Re: Luke Lund - Windowpane (Experimental)

Lots of interesting sounds in here, like the overall soundscape you've created it, and the lo-fi feel of the sounds. The beat programming is varied and holds interests, takes a bit of time to get going into the main section of the tune though. More interesting noises throughout though, it's got an ...

Re: Light Overhead - Infertile Soil (BENTSO rmx) (Experiment

Opening drums are very weak, like can hardly hear them. The sidechaining is a bit too aggressive as well, maybe shorten the release on it so it's not quite so sucky. Reverb on the snare is a bit too high, and with the snare itself lacking power it's all the more noticeable.

Rest of the elements ...

Hi guys. Been making music of sorts for a while but first time trying dubstep. It's merely a beat & bassline loop... It's not properly equalized yet and it lacks ambient layers, I also might change the tempo a tad lower from ...
