NI Massive crackling noise issue
Hey y'all. I got an issue in Massive. I made a couple patches, but there is a crackling noise that is very annoying, and I have tried everything I know to fix it, however with no luck. Here's the noise: https://soundcloud.com/trouncee/crackling-noise-massive/s-i6n2O I am using a Performer for the mo...

Re: Hard 'machine gun' basses? how.
Thanks man. I appreciate it. :D The massive patch I layer my machine gun sounds with is just a single osc with crush on it, phase modulation on it with an LFO. An LFO on the amp and the wt. And 2 double notch filters with no modulation on them. 1 oscillator? Maybe thats my problem, when I try to re...

Re: 12guage, Mantis, Sadhu, D-Jahsta, Dayn, Jphelpz Sounds
For machine gun basses, as suggested, chop up a nice bass you like and layer it with actual machine guns. When I make machine gun basses, I normally just layer a pretty simple massive patch with actual machine guns sounds, and then process them. Here is a tune of mine. The machine guns sounds okayi...

Re: My attempt at Datsik/excision/Downlink sound?
The Datsik/Excision type basses are "all" about the effects. Here is an example. The first is a simple massive patch without any process/effects added to it, and the second is the same patch with some distortion, delay and a touch of reverb on it. Bear in mind this was made in a couple of ...

FL Studio Channel Window/Step Sequencer Detachment
Hey yall.
Is there any way to detach the Channel Window/Step Sequencer in FL 11? I am using dual monitor and would like my Step Sequencer on the monitor outside FL.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Looking for an audio recorder
I could, but I won't. I am used to using an audio recorder. I had one, but lost it. I find it 50 times faster and easier that way.Brothulhu wrote:Can't you just download the mp3 using a converter from youtube and fire the movie into audacity and chop?

Looking for an audio recorder
As the titles says, I am looking for an audio recorder. Not to record with my mic, but to sample movies, youtube videos and such.
Anyone has any ideas? I'd prefer if it wasn't too expensive.

Re: A quick question about Harmor
I have one more question for y'all. How Do I copy everything from A to B? Like everything, instead of having to copy every little part. I often forget to link the two to begin with, so I was hoping this option is available.

Re: A quick question about Harmor
Change the distance between the two points, take the one on the far left and drag it closer to the start to make it faster. You can also do time synced phasing this way, just turn on the "tempo" button and drag the far left point to one of the vertical grid lines. You can't automate the s...

Re: A quick question about Harmor
It is because the phaser lfo offset doesn't reset as you suspected. What I do to fix this is set the phaser lfo speed to 0 and automate the phaser offset like so: http://i.imgur.com/IqZbklt.png Make sure "global" is off and you have the envelope set as a loop. You can also use the lfo con...

A quick question about Harmor
Hey everyone.
As the title says, I have a quick question about Harmor. Whenever I use the Phaser in an instance of Harmor, the sound somehow changes, almost as if the note doesnt reset.
I made this quick to demonstrate what I mean: https://soundcloud.com/trouncee/for-dsf

Mixing snare reverb
I am at the moment working on a pretty heavy, war-like kinda tune. My only problem is that the reverb on my snare always vanishes in the mix. Always. I've been trying all day to mix this snare right, but with no luck. At first I thought that it was because of what a "mess" the tune is I co...

Re: Volume lowered when exported
Are you sure it's not because the volume know is automatically set to 80% when you import it? The master volume knob is always at 80%. I never even touch it. What I mean is, that everytime I export my newly made samples, they lose about 10dB, meaning that everytime I wanna use one of my own samples...

Volume lowered when exported
So whenever I make myself a snare, kick or whathaveyou, the volume lowers by about 10dB when I bring the exported .wav back into my DAW (FL Studio).
Is it something in my export-settings that are doing this? Wat iz dis?
Thank you all in advance.

Your weakest point(s)?
So, I was wondering what you people find to the weakest point(s) in your production? I've been pondering about this question for quite a while now and thought it would be interesting to ask. Personally, I can't stand my sound design and my melodies. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get towa...
