Instead of forking out the cash, someone compiled a really nice little collection of freeware programs and named it the mobile production or something, I would link you but I'm on my phone, why not use the search bar to find it here, never know may not need to buy anything

At the end of the day all Daws are great, its just finding ones that work for you, don't let people sway your decision by saying" but this DAW can do this!" I think every DAW does the same thing its just finding the right way to do it :)

Its a lot easier to copy someone elses good sounding sound, Synthesis is a daunting task and who is wanting to do it when the rewards are not immediate.

bit cheeky really, they both play out separately so they can do double the gigs
. In relation couldn't EQ do some of problems, like more mids for a punchy snare, also editing the ADSR
