Chopstix - I Don't Need Love (Trap/Chill)
Whuddup. Finished this track yesterday and wanted to hear opinions on melody, sound quality, and or your general interest in the track. Is this a song you'd like to pull up on soundcloud to listen to again? If not, why? Just trying to make my music as appealing as possible.
Thanks yo.

Re: Chopstix-Stainless Steele (Sort of Trap) Mastering tips
My biggest criticism would be that there is a lot of white noise sound in it, I think its probably just some frequencies clashing that you could do without in certain intruments...
I would have to agree, my track could sound be sharpened and cleaned up a lot. I'm not too savvy when it comes to ...

@O_Chopstix: Are you serious? .-/
Which genre do you mean exactly? Anyway, the snare sound I made myself by sampling a real snare from my drumset. I don´t remember where the kick comes from...

Chopstix-Stainless Steele (Sort of Trap) Mastering tips plz
So lately I've been experimenting in Ableton and shying away from the usual 140bpm standard kick-snare. I'm liking where trap was headed so I've decided to incorporate some of that into my track. Tips on where things sound iffy or where I could have adjusted volume, compressed, EQ'd etc. would be ...

Re: experimental dub by K-lone
To be quite honest, I don't fancy this genre too much. But I am fond of the sort of "kick" and "snare" used at 1:03. I'd like to get my hands on the samples. Are they a part of some sample set?

Re: Mr. Ours - Robot Dub
I'm relatively new to the forum, but here is my advice for what its worth:
I think your drums are solid and your sub bass is pretty clean. I was personally a bit bored after the first minute. I feel as though it was a bit too repetitive for my liking and that you could have made use of a variety of ...

This thread would be more appropriate in the technical forum.
Yeah, kind of figured after scrolling through other topics in the General. Being new I wasnt sure how to get rid of the post or if that was even possible. Thanks for the redirection ...

Looking for advice on sampling vocals - Ableton Live
Hey there, musically I think I am advancing satisfactorily. My techniques for completing my tracks are getting more complex, in a good way. But I think I skipped an important step in my growth by not ever remixing tracks that I really like, which is something that I actually wanted to do when I ...

Any advice on mastering and filtering?
Heya, I am new to making dubstep and I have run into a couple of problems when it comes to exporting my tracks out. I think the tracks sound alright, but I know I could do way more to increase the sound quality. Do you have any personal steps that you go through to make your tracks sound perfect and ...
