My personal liability, but it is the way I am. I think I'll give maschine a try, after all. If I don't like it, I'll sell ...

Re: In the beginning..Remember?
I don't think I really focused on one thing when I was starting out... Like I don't remember being like, "This song is going to have a really nice use of a compressor and that is it" For better or worse I don't think I started focusing on certain parts of my production until much later when I had ...

i might be wrong, but from alot of cuplrate tunes it sounds as if hes big into granular synthesis and is layering granular samples on top of his bass sounds for the extra movement

Re: Finding the pitch of a resampled sound?
Im pretty sure your on FL, so do this:
Load the sampe up in Edison, click the on regions, and select "detect pitch regions".
It will now show you the pitch of the sample.
Set the root note to whatever pitch it was in, and its fixed :D
^this. or you can link your sample to a mixer channel, throw ...

dubstep is lacking a live element ... traditional dub music is mixed live to a 2 track.

@sifty i really like the intro vibe :4: , melody is nice (maybe switch it up just a bit) the hi hat shuffle gives it a real nice feeling, maybe try adding sound effects and atmosphere to the intro. other then that i defo would kick backs and smoke a blunt to this tune :6:
