Arpeggios: Arpeggios are much easier to understand than they sound! They are quite simply the first, third and fifth note of the scale played as individual notes. The scoop can help you see if your song is tilting (for example. if the bass pans out to the right or the left). Its often easy to hear and most people will put there bass in mono so the problem wont occur. But sometimes its handy. What can be useful is whats under the scoop. The phase meter. Put it...

I use AKG K710 with Apogee One as DAC.
And I would like to point out that any pro headphones need a good DAC. Else you want get much out of them.
