I'm an american kid and just out of curiosity, why does the uk bass scene take to theo parrish so much, as apposed to other midwest cats like moodyman or whoever?

The instrumentation is real nice, like the melody is sik. I feel as though the bass drop could be more intense- with a filter sweep or something. This is sik tho, it's got a real serious feel to it, like it could be featured in a post apocalyptic film.
