Re: Skrillex > Benga
for myself, at least, i literally cant listen to a skrillex song for more than 15 seconds. its truly painful to listen to. the noises are sharp, unmusical, and unoriginal. thus, in my opinion, benga is better than skrillex by default, let alone the fact that hes just plain better in pretty much ...

Re: pairing alesis m1 monitors with what sub?
Sell alesis m1's, use proceeds and sub money to invest in some better monitors. If it's accuracy your after in my opinion that would be the wiser way to go. Unless you really love those monitors then fair play. 1000 what by the way, pounds, gil, rupees?

help with sub distortion sound
how can i make the sound that you hear in this song (goth-trad - flags) at around the 2:00 mark. The sub sounds like its wobbling and sounds like hi res. Im also thinking he may have a subtle "watery" wobbly mid over it? any help is appreciated thanks

hard attacking/pluck sub
im wondering how to make a sub with a very strong attack that hits almost as hard as a kick would. a good example is kryptic minds-no more no less. the sub hits between the kicks and just plucks so nicely, but i cant seem to get it to be that strong. ive messed with res and cutoff as that seems to ...

pluck/fast attack sub bass

Re: tuning drums
If it's in a sampler you should be able to adjust the fine tuning, or you can just change it in increments with the midi notes.
Something like a hihat isn't going to have a musical pitch so tuning it to a specific note can't really be done. Just adjust the tuning of it by ear until it fits better ...
