Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here

Yo, what's up? I'm Andrew, studying Music Technology/Performance at Virginia Tech. Sadly they don't offer dubstep courses so...Here is where I came for some answers ;-)

Re: Best budz you've ever burned?

Nice, just curious what's good every where haha. I am in Virginia though, so I am guessing the flow of things may be a little different from here to the U.K./wherever else people may be jammin' to some bass.

Re: 10/10 Obama crushes Trump

Probably his single greatest achievement.

Yes, I will probably be more impressed if we say... get out of debt? Fix some joblessness? Make sure there is enough pension/social security for everyone? Etc.

Hmm, and thank the troops for catching Osama Bin Laden, despite the fact in his address he ...

Re: Harmonic Mixing

Not to say it's NECESSARY to know the key of what you're mixing back but... honestly, think how much time you could save if you just knew what you were working with, rather than guessing? The trial and error method just seems kind of like a waste of time to me when you can just play a couple scales ...

Re: People smoking at dubstep nights

If you want info on the one I got, check out www.njoy.com.

I think it's alright, tried the menthol cartridges and they are no good. The "natural" ones are not too bad though actually. Just keeping it charged and all can be kinda lame, like I said.

Re: People smoking at dubstep nights

Just to sum up:

Tobacco - Bad

Weed - Good

Yes. Haha, yes indeed. If anybody wants a testament about the e-cig; I honestly think it's not all it's cracked up to be. I got one with the intention of not smoking as many real cigarettes, (I like them on occasion if I am blazing which is...kinda ...

Re: Dubstep is dead?

It's only been growing in my opinion. I have just really gotten into it in the past 2 years, but I have seen no signs of dying out (in my area at least). Local bars/restaurants have started having decent artists like Heyoka and various others, (at least ones that I have heard of) come play their ...

Re: The history of Dubstep

But calling it awkward was shameless in my opinion..

Dude, have you ever had any training or lessons with a musical instrument and/or a private teacher? Professionals have no problem chewing you out, breaking you down, and making you start over again. Just because Dubstep is not classical or main ...
