Dubstep PR / Publicists?
Does anyone know of dubstep publicists or pr firms / agencies / people for dubstep? I've had a hard time finding any that work with dubstep.
Thanks

Re: "Cut everything below 30hz for more headroom"
I do it on the master, usually the mastering engineer would take care of that though.
The reason I don't specifically just cut -30 on each individual track is cause one, it's more processing, and two it introduces phase shifting from the eq on every track, rather then just once.
my 2 cents...

Re: Making a Major Life Decision
I'd definitely stay at school. As others have said you're really lucky to be there in the first place.
I work full-time and still put in about 6 hours a day to music. This allows me to pay for all of the equipment I want/need and live a somewhat stable life and still do what I love. Yeah I'm tired ...

Re: Thinking of switching from ableton to logic.. Best drum
ableton only lets you view the plugin's in the selected channel. I found this a bitch when i was eqing two parts to sit together. i find it more intuitive to have both eq's open at the same time so i can easily edit both simultaneously when balancing sounds.

Re: Organising sounds in a bass drop?
This is my number one problem with music lately. I've been trying to find out a "system" or way of getting nice drops with high energy but tend to stick to my melodic same ol' same ol' with sometimes a taster of the elements I want.

Re: How organised are you when producing?
When I'm working on my track in the beginning stages, creating loops, sequencing, laying shit down - my session is a complete mess... I wish I would take more time to organize and color or whatever but it stops my whole flow.

Umm
You can do this buy automating an LP filter's frequency knob, you know thats ALL wobble is, right?
The frequency of the filter going up and down, up and down.
Pointless VST.
I don't really see it being pointless at all and use it pretty often because...

Re: EASY HIGHPASS QUESTION.
I usually highpass most things to 120hz even if I can't hear anything below that. No real reason for most things to sit under there besides sub bass.
