yeah mate! thats heavy, loving the originality, i think that it could be improved dramatically with 16 bar build up to the drop using pads w/e which then falls into the drop you already have. epic track dude

Awesome track! LOVE the bass synth there is some nasty shit going right there.
one thing that could possibly add to the impact of the drop is to cut out the sweeps and the cymbal delay after the reverse cymbal has reached its pinnacle (around 0.54) and add in a snare clap with some reverb to kinda ...

yeah man i agree with signal recon kick needs to be layered with a more punchy/less subby one and the snare could be layered with another snare with a more mid frequency punch - transient shapers are good to and punch to both the kick and snare. ive had a crack at the cymbals and layered both the kick and snare to beef it up a bit, also added in a pad in the intro and added a few subtle effects over the lead.

what are peoples thoughts on it at this stage?

listening back now what your saying makes a lot of sense. will have a gand at adding in some fills to the intro, and possibly changing the kick build up on the drop so it start at a 1/1 rhythm, rather than a 1/2 rhythm. what kind of techniques would you recommend to add grit/punch to ...
