Possible OS X substitute for Harmor Bass resample ?
So I'm sure you guys have all seen the insanely informative and awesome videos done by SeamlessR regarding how to resample / process bass sounds using edison and harmor. It's easy to understand, and the results are mind blowing for sure.

Re: Knife Party - Centipede Bass Tutorial
Excellent work dude, that's basically spot-on.
Only problem I have with this is, I don't use Reason!
Can you give me some advice with translating this technique to Logic or Live ?

Reks : That sounds amazing, Keep going with that one, it's got some amazing potential. Also, you should help me figure out how to emulate that sound on FM8 or Massive, or Razor :)

Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
The technique I want to do with EQ'ing is outlined in this vid, if you can please help me figure out how to mimic this in Logic Pro, that would be righteous.

Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
I've seen in tutorials where they automate the eq (which has 5-7 parametric bands) in a way that's not quite the same in Logic Pro. Is there a plugin available ( free or paid ) that allows me to do what you can do in FL Studio's fruity parametric EQ2, or the on-board EQ in ableton.

I already knew that, perhaps I didn't word that well enough in the above question, but Yeah, I know Logic Pro is the same on it's own, and with in Logic Studio, I was just wondering if you thought it was worth the extra chunk of change for mainstage and soundtrack pro as well.

KRK Rokit RP5-6 & 10s / RP8-G2
Hey, up-and-coming Producer and DJ here. Looking for a quality set of Monitors to mix and master with, also would like a set that can be used to casually listen / play games with.
I've done my research, and am totally into the rokit's look, sound, and design as a whole.
So, my question is, should ...

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
Got the M-Audio Oxygen25, lets see how this treats me :) And im trying to map everything out on logic and get a hang of this :) Anybody have any useful documentation specifically for settings on plugs / where to get the plugs ? also, perhaps some oxygen 25 specific logic tips / resources. Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
TBH I'm actually kind of leaning toward the M-audio Axiom series, that or, Mpk25 from Akai. However, I've read up alot about the drum pads that people fix, due to their lack of easy playability.

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
Thanks for your input man, Much appreciated.
I'll definitely stay with logic, and i'll look into everything BUT m-audio products.
Another concern is, I heard the Akai units are good, save for their lack of playability on the drum pads , anybody have some insight on that ?

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
Which is the best for low-end controllers ? Likely 25k. The nocturn 25 ? I've seen some kinda crummy reviews on it though. How well does it integrate with Logic ?

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
I've been looking at the mpk mini, and it looks like a definite possibility, It's a nice/compact unit. Any other suggestions ? note that I do NOT mind shelling out $200-300 for a good controller.

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
Concerning the mpk mini, Do you find the lack of pitch bend / mod wheel hindering, or are you still able to do just about anything inside the DAW itself anyways.

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
Though, I have to ask. What is wrong with M-Audio's lower-end gear ?
It looks so damn nice, ( asides from being pretty bulky ), and it has pretty goo reviews aswell !

Also, another question though, concerning midi controller keyboards again, I'm currently looking at a few such as :

Re: Dubstep Noob seeking guidance
Thanks to both of you! I'll look into that. And to be honest, I think somthing along the lines of the mpk is perfect for me, However, If i can find a used novation at a good price, I'll probably go for that.
