What I do for time stretching is usually drop the song into the playlist first, then click the audio symbol in the upper left corner of the audio clip, the third category down is listed as 'Sample', click "Detect tempo". I'd say sampling my own voice was the most embarrassing thing I've done while producing, for other reasons obviously
