Hi
I mainly make hip hop instrumentals but as i do admire dubstep production techniques i also make dubstep occasionally.
Check my signature for some of my grow like bass - it meant be a hip hop instrumental so it's very repetitive.

Muscle Rollers-Feed Me: what does he do to that end sample?
I'm talking about the very end of the song where it's a sample of a guy yelling. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how how he managed to twist and distort audio in such a manner. I always feel very limited when it comes to altering audio in a significant way, so any tip would be appreciated ...

Any suggestions on how to make drums have more variation in this genre? I was thinking I should have changed between hats at certain points but I can't rightly judge because everything ...

darpy parp - It's On (<- I think I did good with this one)
I got bad carpal tunnel from making this song, but overall it was worth it because I learned a shitload, improved my skills, and didn't end up sacrificing school work for it. A victory for us all! :corndance:
anyhow, below this pointless sentence lies my song.

Re: Ableton Operator vs Massive
don't buy massive. buy zebra 2
I second this.
Try Zebralette if you want to know how zebra 2 feels.
also, yes FM8 is capable of so much only to be crippled by the retarded interface :(
I usually just find a preset that's close to what I'm after and then tweak it until it's right. I find it ...

Love it thus far bro
Thanks Dooku.
How did you get that tone that kind of studders and has that upward pitch bend at 1:05 - 1:07? I hear stuff like that but can't really figure out, did you just use automation or it is a plugin? And by they way, good work on the track. I'd say maybe you ...

Re: Shtuffe - Distorted Mind (Filthy Dubstep)
Hey mate, the sounds are cool but the mix needs a lot of work. The actual bass synth is too loud/distorted and drowns out your drums and as you know drums are a big part of the music. Try using a highpass filter and keep upping the frequencies you are cutting off until you can hear your drums punch ...

+1 Yeah TAL Filter is pretty handy and has Mac versions.
I downloaded it and have no clue how to use it, I put it in as an insert and all the knobs work but nothing happens where you make the waveform; no modulation. It's just as if I've applied a regular filter. I'm trying to use it with Massive ...

Hello, I apologize for any noob mistakes, I've only been working with synths and DAW's for about a month now trying to better myself and learn as much as I can.
