Re: Organising sounds in a bass drop?

I apologize if this thread is dead X) But I have to give a little tip that i've used with pretty great results. What I do, before I make a drop, I listen to what I have. Usually there's a kind of "ah ha" moment where your mind kind of put's the bass drop there, or you have an idea of what ...

WANTED: Bass Drop tutor/mentor

What I'd really like to learn is how to crank out basslines that sound remotely good, so someone who could teach me the structures, or what goes into...

Re: Help Me Make That Sound - 2011.

@timesi: Look into resampling. Like, render your entire bassline out (sample), then cut and splice into the original song creatively (re-sample). I warn you: this will quickly become fun, especially when you start reversing and mangling rhythmically. (Also, try rendering the entire track and then r...

Re: Help Me Make That Sound - 2011.

Hello all, I have a question about how some of you make glitched basslines. I have the actual bass instruments that's not the problem. So far the only thing i really understand to do is use dblue or use gross beat, but that doesnt give me the hectic yet controlled feel. Personally, and i guess this ...

Heavy Glitched Basslines

Hello all, I have a question about how some of you make glitched basslines. So far the only thing i really understand to do is use dblue or use gross beat, but that doesnt give me the hectic yet controlled feel. Personally, and i guess this is a touchy one here, i like skrillex. i was just wondering...

Re: Looking for some feedback/tips

im not sure where they're peaking at, but i brought the bass volume down a bit and the drums definitely came out a lot more. but im still confused on what sidechaining is supposed to do to the mix.

Re: Looking for some feedback/tips

Well i really tried my best at getting all the sounds out, mastering is something im not too familiar with yet. The snares and kicks are all layered and compressed, and the main lead/bass is actually layered with a few vst's and i threw camel crusher on for distortion (the crusher is probably whats ...
