i'm putting together some demo tracks for a label, and want to know if i should bother having them mastered or not? the mixes are good, but it's hard for me to afford 160 dollars of mastering.

i'm just wondering how all you bro-step producers create your fat, industrial, testosterone-pumped, chaotically modulated "bass" sounds (the ones that sound like screeching robots and such.) i am personally into real "dubstep" - pangaea, untold, etc etc. i am not a fan of the ame...

yeah, i'd love to share my music with like-minded producers, but i have yet to find a decent outlet for sharing/feedback. a beginners' sub forum would be cool, but i doubt beginners would really stick to just that forum.
