Typically I make cuts specific to each item i use. Every kick will settle different in every song. (E.g. Kick A would be Eqed differently in Song A, than if I used Kick A in Song B.) Its all about that sound youre trying to achieve.

I hardly think some halftime wobble is destroying dubstep. Got a really rude, minimal feel. Reminds me of old Monsta/Jakes/Some of Skreams better tearout...

feedback delays/loops are also great for filling up a mix nicely.

set up delay---->
eq top and bottom out to taste( or bandpass it)------>
send to itself (be careful, it can be very easy to over do it here and blow either your speakers or you ears!)

then automate the amount you send to the delay ...
