I was going to go all out and make this a heavy Dubstep track but decided to make the bass a little more relaxed and keep the synths melodic and chilled out.
I'm still thinking about doing some vocal cuts to make it more interesting but havent found any samples that fit what Im looking for yet ...

thanks for the constructive comments, I had a similar idea with the intro to chuck some more ambient noises through out the intro, and maybe even a slight change in the chords to spice it up.
The mix probably won't come together fully until I finish producing the track, then I'll get my teeth into ...

fresh mix with the kick perked up and some other bits n pieces added, I'm still playing with the final structure of the patterns so the mix isn't in its final stages yet by far.

I'll clean the mids up and put a few extra bits here and there to change it up a little more.
I edited my last post with a fresh mix where I started to work on the mids, and taking a bit of the lows down.
The melody needed some of the harshness taken out of the high ...

this is a WIP that has sat on my HD for a while now, I can't seem to get any further with it.
I have tried adding some bass at varying speeds through the main bassline, and was thinking maybe it needs some sort of high pitched altering noises to break up to bass a bit more, but still haven't found ...
