Re: Dazel - In Waves (Happy Dubstep)
Really liking the intro man! Overall, I think this track isn't exactly my style, but it sounds well put together. I gave it a full listen, and the only thing I would attempt is to smoothen out the main synth, it's a tad too harsh for me. Overall, nice track though man, keep it up.

Re: TheTomster - Filthy Symphony (Dubstep Instrumental)
I really like the orchestral idea, but I used to play in orchestra myself and the one thing I disliked (while at the same time loving the violin) was that it seemed kind of plain, maybe adding in a 2nd violin part would help, maybe plucked strings under the lead, or even volume crescendos and decre...

Re: first song no idea what to name it but here it is
This. None of those notes flow together to be honest. You're sound seems to be nice and clean, so I'd suggest just revising your note arrangement.OllieScott wrote:i suggest learning some music theory, learn some scales, chords etc. Definitely will help improve your music

Re: Police Brutality - Magnum
Tbh, the track sounds very dry and a bit uninteresting. I found myself skipping ahead a bit. I wouldn't know how to enhance this track, as it really isn't my style, sorry man!

TheTomster - Filthy Symphony (Dubstep Instrumental)
Renamed the song. Still looking for feedback on this before I can call it fully mastered. Leave some comments here or on SoundCloud. :) Thanks! http://soundcloud.com/tomcieciuch/filthy-symphony I'm thinking of making the intro 2 bars longer so it doesn't feel like it swells all at once and jumps rig...

Re: Chooch - Dusk (Dubstep/Chilled)
Bump for more feedback? I'm in the process of fully mastering this track, I'd like some tips on mastering (using Reason 5, or a different program), or tweaking this track. Thanks.

Re: Brand New (workinprogress!)
The high frequencies sound very harsh, and though I'm not very good at identifying these things yet, I do notice a noise in the background. I believe if you tone it down a bit, it would be a pretty good track. :) Also, your drums are lacking bass. I have my sub turned up to max on bass, and most tra...

Re: Chill Out Dubstep
I like the track on SoundCloud, will be sure to give it a real listen by downloading it tomorrow when I can get on the computer, quite tired at the moment!
Please check out the track in my signature if you can! I'd consider it "Chillstep", though I'm not sure that's what you mean. :p

Wow, that track is so amazing clean sounding! And even though your story of your friend saying it sounded like 2 songs might be true, it definitely flows very well. I love this track, it's practically flawless, great work!

Re: Chillaxation (Reason 5 Dubstep)
If you take the subtractor and set all the occilators to white noise (where it sounds like tv static) then go to the lowpass fileter section and bring it down and then slowlly bring it up, thats basic sweep. You could probabbly find the file on google by typing in sweep sample. I know youve heard i...

Re: Chillaxation (Reason 5 Dubstep)
I can tell right away you need some help eq ing, the beg pad is too mid range. 500 to 1000k The bass sounds ok and the LFOs too. You might wanna try adding some sound effects. Like sweeps etc. Your kick you wanna accentuate 60 K and run it through a compressor your snare you wanna bring out around ...
