Re: Skrillex - Scary monsters and nice sprites (mellow remix
I agree with ericuk that the bass sounds a bit off. I also think there is a too much reverb on that feedbacky bass, although i like the sound. The problem is that the feedback pitch is just slightly off key, so you it is a little bit uncomfortable to listen to.
Good effort man.

I agree you could use some more stuff in the higher ranges. well, maybe not more stuff, just reEQ so that the higher range is more present. Cool drum fills, but I'd like to see a little more percussion overall.

Re: Rejinx - Croak (Experimental/First Track Ever)
First track ever? Nice job man. I wish you could hear my first track ever. It was waaaaaaaay shittier than this. Then again, this was before VSTs and when FL studio was just FL, but whatever. Props man.

Really like the drop dude. Sounds like there is a lot of stuff coming out of the mid range though. Makes those awesome sounds sound a bit flat. You also need a bigger/punchier kick. It gets lots under the bassline.

Nasty. As. Fuck.
Oooh really don't like the square 4/4 section. Feels a little out of place.
Good work dude.

Stylistically not my thing, but I'll give my input anyway. Nice crisp percussion and I really like the little filter spikes on that sub. Definitely not a fan of that rattle effect though.

Epic man. I'd turn the high-end on that muted-electric-guitar-sounding bass a little bit. Doesn't sound very clear to me. I mean, the sound isn't very crisp.
Really cool sound man.

Really digging Don't Waste Yo Drank. Vocals are really cool. I think you could bump up the volume on the sub. Really like the percussion. it's got a cool groove.

Production quality is pretty high man. Really like the electro style drums, especially that snare. Not the biggest fan of the bass pattern. The sound is cool, but the pattern feels a whack. Not much groove to it, you know? Feels really straight.

Re: Rev6 - Reverse (Dubstep, reverse weirdness)
Kick drum gets lost under the sub, which is probably just a compression issue.
diggin it man. I really love those glitched higher end synths.
Keep it up!

I really like that meandering chromatic bass line man. There is doesn't seem to be an obvious harmonic structure, which I think is really cool here. Has a super post-tonal feel. I imagine being lost in the woods or something.

Another cool track, man. Percussion gets lost after the drop. Really loving that acid riff.
What is that vocal sample from?
I tried a quick google and found this gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tILJhUYy ... re=related

Loving all the feedbacky sounds. feels like there is a little too much reverb overall. sort of feels like i'm swimming through this track. Not sure if that was a good analogy, but hopefully you get what i mean.

REALLY cool track man. I mean, really. I am impressed!
That being said, the sounds (especially in the intro, but also after the drop) are all really thin. Lots of stuff in the high-end, which isn't bad in and off itself, but I think this track really needs more power in it's mid and low range. I ...
