Re: I'm p much a total synth noob.
Okay, that really cleared that up, thanks! Still wondering should they sit in the track though. Like, in between basslines? on top of basslines? etc...

I'm p much a total synth noob.

Also, to be honest, I'm not even entirely sure what the difference between the two are. Any help would be grea...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Night Light: I like the idea, just try to get the kick and snare punchier, and the mixdown a bit better, some of the bass parts are way too loud, and are swallowing up the drums. Otherwise, pretty solid, good job! @Noisestorm - Appreciate the feedback! Do you mean the womp bass or the sub (or both)...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@JTL - My favorite thing about your track is the vocals. I couldn't find a single place where they didn't fit in perfectly and hearing them with the womps sounded really good. I could see them fitting in with the outro aswell. And I would love to answer your question about the Sub but I'm in the sam...

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
Ok, so here's mine, been pouring my time into this lately... (relationships and production don't mix as he said *sigh*) so I've been working on my own stuff. Think I'm going nuts, it's a bit more DnB but not sure how to make it sound good and more dubstep so any feedback would be really appreciated...

I think this sounds really good. I love the piano, really chills me out in combination with the drums, did you do that yourself?

Re: Refraktion - Lockdown (Hard/Dubstep)
I really like this track, I think you did a really good job with the synths around 1:25 with a great transition into the next breakdown/drop.
