 I think this is pretty much the sound although when messing with the settings you can make it sound really cool and different by barely touching anything. Very sensitive settings. It is pretty cool though. I can upload the KSD is wanted http://soundcloud.com/mattg00d/sporestylegrowl Please do, patc...

 Sorted. @The Riot Act - You can buy a digital copy for £2.50 with all the content including BiFilter and the Masterclass :W: Really where from? I just bought a digital subscription and they say specifically that it doesn't include the masterclass. Subscription cancelled :p Got it through here http:...

I just listened to the audio clip that was posted and the sound Spor gets out of massive is ridiculous! Makes me wonder about the whole resampling thing when he can pump something like this straight out of Massive.

Have you explored all the possibilities of resampling? Why do you think that it is overrated? Im still not sold on it but I am still learning about it.paravrais wrote:Two things;
1: Resampling is over rated.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Say I have a big growl sound, lots of modulation, resampled several times. How do you guys go about writing in a sub under it without it just being one sustained note to match up with the modulations that the growl is doing?

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Is frequency splitting and processing the bands differently a big thing in these sounds or am I just thinking too deep?

 Gentle speech and 2 saws. Bandreject and highpass2 in series. Sine shaper and parabolic shaper. Modulate all the waveforms and the filter. Envelope the highpass to go off in the tip. Adds more growl. Modulate the eq and just experiment. Its really just messing with filters and eq and seeing how the...

Re: Beginning Producer Tips
 Thanks! So I went to guitar center and asked one of the guys there, and remember I know very little so I don't know if this guy is actually right or what. He said that "Everyone" is using an Akai APC40 and ableton live. Would this be good/ necessary setup for what I want to do? I wouldn't...

 I got into producing recently because of my guy and we just split up last Friday. I actually loved the fact that he was into his music and massively supported him. I wouldn't have wanted him to give up at all as I'm a musician myself. He said that production and a relationship wouldn't have worked ...
