i have a folder on my computer desktop that contains all my "finished" tracks.. its labeled
"finished-abandoned". i guess my outlook is that nothing is ever truly finished... i've always got the opportunity to come back to it with new knowledge or techniques.. and maybe try and improve something ...

got some tutorials yesterday, so we'll have to see if i can learn anything from them

i've added more to this.. only little bits though, keeping it minimal for the (fingers crossed) vocal to fit in.... if it will..

some other slight changes made to this... really quite proud of this one... probably my best work so far

yea, definitely feel your pushing the levels too hard somewhere... even if you are aiming for that kinda sound i personally find it too distracting.. stick to your guns if thats what you want though.. peace, man

if you wanna talk about the drums? yea, the drums sound dead... there are loads of ways to change that.. simple solution based on how i think your track is put together is change the drum sample, or layering sounds to create something with more bite... reverb/delay to give it some "extra" depending ...

playing around with this one at the moment.. i may have a nice female vocal to come on this... still undecided tho..

just updated the file.... small changes to a few bits that perhaps make it slightly more coherent...

i'm pretty sure that was a sample chopped up and played with.. most of my stuff is playing with samples

andy, leaving in the ride throughout seemed best to me, but hey.

i thought it was great.. i especially liked the last 10 seconds, which i thought was excellent use of the kick drum..

"leather glow" is nothing short of genius,, it reminded me of why i got into production in the first place..

i like what's here so far.. nice elements that progress well, and keep me interested.. good stuff
