Re: DAW overload(stuttering)

Hey mate, thanks for your reply.I know that about the focusrite and im going to upgrade asap. Regarding the cpu, yes, it is a sandybridge @3.30 which i have overclocked @4.8. Stock sandybridge i7s come mostly at 3.5 so there is not really a point of spending money on a processor atm, especially as i s...

Re: DAW overload(stuttering)

Yeah mate, thanks for the replies, i have a focusrite saffire 6 on asio and sample rates and bufer are where they should be. I just used a cpu maxing software with cpu z open and the core speeds are nowhere near to those when ableton is on, making my stuttering ableton with its plugins a toy compare...

Re: DAW overload(stuttering)

So...how many Ozones do you have loaded, lol? There is your CPU hog, man. Don't care what your PC specs are, get 3 or 4 of those open it's going to eat CPU like a fiend to the pipe... Hey mate, multiband comp and imagers on busses. And looking through more specific stuff like cpu z , cpu maxes at 68...

Re: DAW overload(stuttering)

Hey guys, i have an issue. After adding too much stuff on my current project, ableton starts stuttering badly making it imposibe to work on.It shows cpu load of like 110%.The thing is, I am running an i5 @ 4.8GH and got 6gb of ram,so while this happens on ableton, task manager shows only like 65-70...

Freq. specific sidechain(peak controlling)

Hey guys, basically i am trying to figure out how to make the sound ducking only in specific frequencies, for example at 200hz if sidechained to a snare, without having the whole signal ducking. CAMO&KROOKED are explaining that this is the optimal way to sidechain for maximum loudness in the youtub...

Re: skrillex interview,computer music-Drums

well, thats the reason i asked,to learn..and i aggree that these are basic things, its just that 'EVERY SAMPLE' tripped me out a bit,and yeah, its says 'every' btw, i got the mag next to me.so, it seems that the ''secret'' he shared, is to boost the snare at 200...lame.
thanks for replying anyways
