Different tempo to the sample...so I have to warp.

What I meant was it it was in a certain spot, and I moved the ENTIRE track down a bit, and there was only ONE space.

I talked to a friend, and he said it is probably related to warping. Which would make sense...since I do a LOT of warping when I work on hiphop.

When i put a a sample into "Sampler" in Ableton Live and press a note(Besides the central one)it changes the tempo...it goes slower if i go lower...and faster if i go higher. I want to be able to maintain the same tempo when i press different keys, and transpose it to either higher or lowe...

I want to use the mastering track in Ableton to maser some of the tracks. I don't want to apply it to each individual one...or export the track with it on and then add the drums(The part i don't want to master)is there any way to exclude a track from mastering?
