My apologies I definitely hear it present.. I think it is the balance of the upper synths. Some of the voices are over-balancing the bass. I think it's a good track though, I'm just not exactly sure whats up with the bass--I could tell if I saw it on a spectrum analyzer or something. Cheers!

Your writing is good dude. My only problem was... Are you intentionally leaving out the sub bass? If not, you need to high-pass filter all of your synths around 130hz, and then take the midi parts to your "bass line" and combine them; put this new combined midi clip on a synth that ...

on your tune "Back When", I think the kick drum is just a bit too present in the mix. I really feel like a lot of the other sounds are buried in the texture because the kick is so overpowering. Ask yourself this, is the kick drum really my main voice here?
