Re: At what Hz do you cut your sub off at?
i guess it would depend on the notes being played + where the sub is peaking... don't follow a set number for anything it's almost different for every tune and sound

Re: DSF Q&A 20: Downlink
big ups for doing this, big fan of your stuff! questions: what process do you go through to make your sub bass and and midrange bass flow together and sounding huge? how should i mix down my tracks if i want to play them out in clubs? do you plan on making any different genres in the near future? ho...

Re: How to recreate megalodon's basses?
i've gotten some similar results playing around with massive. check out oscillators like duckorgan, chrome, and dirty throat to name a few. try putting 2-3 LFOs on multiple things, like the filter cutoff, weight position on different OSCs and intensity etc. if you play around with the ratios right i...

Re: The extremely embarrasing basic question thread
omg i'm so frustrated this sub won't stop clicking... it's not clipping... I've attempted to adjust the Attack and Release... I just don't know. It's only when the notes are right next to each other i.e. a quarter note followed directly by another quarter note. the sub is legato with one voice. may...

i've gotten similar results layering a pad, saw, and a sub and then side chaining it. pretty nifty tune i personally think xilent pulled it off better ![corndance :corndance:](./images/smilies/corndance8sr.gif)

Re: WIPs/unfinished tunes for feedback * no finished tunes *
@Bassf4ce: really lacking everything overall tbh. try highpassing your wubs at 100-150hz and add in some sub. boost the sub at 50-55hz ish to give it a pump. the song needs more structure overall it's really random. read this thread: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=233775 @DJ Hig...

you should learn massive inside and out either way cause its a versatile synth. you can get some sick sounds out of FM8 but massive is easier imo. ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Well, i hate to say this, but it applies really well here. Does an artist make his own colors? thats a stupid analogy in my opinion. theres only a certain amount of colors so theres a huge limit on that and actually an artist does mix colors to make their own shades. but theres an unlimited amount ...
