Yo, got the Saffire 6 as well and had latency issues! You can try turning off any unnecessary devices in your device manager to reduce the latency, this worked for me as turning of my internet whilst producing stopped the issues (also stopped me aimlessly browsing Facebook and not getting stuff done ...

I know with a bigger budget you'd probably be better off with CDJ's but my budget is relatively low at about £250-£300 so I'd basically be getting either quite a nice USB mixer or ...

Im all in for the 1940's samples, always think older stuff has a nice vibe if your going for a more organic sound This is a really chilled track!!

Nice track!! the bit at the start with the little melody, the way it was modulating reminded me of Acid house bass for some reason.. different sounds to usaull which is nice also jlove the single snare on its own jsut before 1st drop XD

Overall some pretty good productio here for a beginner!! Really like the way the bass syncopates with the kick during the first kick build up. You got all the main elements, good beat and everything, all just working on your sound, like the bass aswell when it drops back and the yoi comes in!!

Like the tracks man they got real potential! You could try bringing in another synth later on for a melody line on the top, or double up the tempo towards the end for a drumstep kind of feel? Also could put some more pauses in to make the synths hit harder. These are all suggestions not criticisms ...
