I have been set on these headphones for about 8 months now and i finally ordered them today!
After reading through loads of different forums, most of them tell you that an amp is a must when you are producing through headphones.
So which amp do you think would work best with my Q701's?

I decided to take all my tracks down off soundcloud at the start of this year and not upload anything again until it sounds like a proper track to me.

Fair enough do you think i should just scrap the vocals and just keep the rest?
& how would i go about fixing it if its too compressed? i havnt used compression on anything but the kicks and i think the subbass

I took advice from my last post and started a new project and just created a nice subbass that i felt was better and created a bit more atmosphere.
I didnt mean to do a track with eminem on it but it just happened when i was messing about and i think some bits sound alright.

I keep asking a friend of mine to let me record him on his drum kit but it never happens.

Thanks for the reply mate, and your spot on about needing to learn "what this knob does" because at the moment i dont know what they do im just experimenting with them and finding sounds that i like.

Instead of trying to fix my last track i ended up starting a new one :lol:
I think this is my best one up to now, im not sure about the ending though or if i have structured it properly
