How do dubstep producers usually automate their wobble basses?

What is the lfo free rate a percentage of? 100% of what? if i could get that basic info, i could calculate the synced rates myself. POS unchecked still sounds jumpy to me...

UNSYNCED SWEEP BETWEEN TWO SYNCED LFO RATES! yeah that's what I want in massive! these abrupt changes sound so robotic and lame... the automation change is done across one held note, and it's an abrupt change, so it must be retriggering?

I am trying to get gradual automation changes between synced LFO rates/ratios with Massive in Logic. For example, I'll draw a 45% line between a synced lfo rate of 1/8 to 1/12 over a quarter note in Logic, but upon playback, there is an an abrupt change in the "wobble" from 1/8 to 1/12. I would ...
