Been trying to get my songs loud enough that I can play them at the club without having to crank the gain too much.. Re: How do i make this sound? I hear it a lot in house music

I guess you are just missing distortion/drive? First sound is pretty massive'y try 2 saws at -12 the other at 0 Bit Crush + Clip Tube + Dimension Expander (or reverb/mono chorus) 3 voices Daft or daft + another filter (like scream/lp) Eq to taste then play around with pitch, filter and drive and pha...

Re: Pitch enveloped grime bass sound

Sounds like its made in massive
carbon with env on the wavetable and amp for the high layer
+ lp filter
anything would work the for bottom

super hard clipping then bouncing down bass from 808 emulators sounds sick for these type of sounds;)

Re: Best audio interface for $400+?

For $400 to $500 you would be better off investing in new monitors;)

If you are only using it to plug your monitors into your computer then a $30 behringer will suffice;)

More expensive ones are only needed if you are recording sound (from guitars etc)

Basically sine wave is your starting point From there you want to add small bits of additional waves (triangle/square/formant) just experiment;) For my subs atm I am really digging fm 8 For synths sidechaining to notes that you cant actually hear (because they are muted) is pretty common especially ...

yeah there isnt much infomation out there for jump up dnb... most tutes are for neuro/reeses etc
square waves + bit crusher + chorus is generally the way to go for jump up whomps/wobs
most of the sound is not actually in the filter but rather the adsr of the sound

Re: Reduce cpu usage but keeping flexibility

Getting rid of any unnecessary programs on your pc will help (and normal computer maintenance type stuff)
Aero uses heaps of cpu in windows.... I would highly recommend disabling visual effects (control panel > system > advanced)
Id also tweak your virtual memory
