sorry for taking ages reply - only just came back on here!

To make it heavier I'd just wack some sub underneath the bass. Just a pure sine wave, with a tad of reverb. Have a play with distortion/filters etc but try not to take the natural feel from it. It needs to be lower than everything else ...

Loving the intro! Reminds me of the PS1 Final Fantasy 7! ha!

After that - I'd try beef that bass up a bit. Sounds like it need openin up and giving more body!
