Really liking this tune. I really love your mid range bass...it sounds great! doesnt sound quite like the typical overused massive sound...is it massive? does not sound like it

Re: Zillion - Illogical (Dark)
I really like it man...if, however, your looking for some constructive criticism since the song has that smooth eerie feeling you should taper off the ending or make it more smooth so it may fit better. All my opinion though

Re: A Mono VST?
I looked in my DAW and it has no such option or stock vst. The only option is a switch between mono and stereo. I am looking for a blend between the two and the ability to automate it...I cannot even automate the switch to mono and stereo the moment.

A Mono VST?
Does anyone know of a vst that is capable of of an automated switch between a stereo and mono signal? In my song I am currently working on I want to be able to add a slight mono signal to the build and in the drop bring back full stereo to make the sound seem even more huge...anyone have any ideas ...

Re: Effects Chain Orders
then if this multiple comrpessor chain works...perhaps someone can post a chain that they have had success in creating a great growl sound using this multiple compressor technique.
Why don't you just experiment with the concept?..... :corntard:
This is because in this thread, I essentially said ...

Compression after EQ? Any reason?Climax wrote:I dont think those are serious responses....

EQ - to cut what isnt needed
Distortion 1
Maybe Chorus or Phaser depending on the sound
Distortion 2
EQ Again to tidy up
Compression

Effects Chain Orders
So I figured I would create a thread on effect chain orders. This can be helpful for me and many others. I do know that sometimes there is no "right way" to arrange an effects chain...on the otherhand sometimes there is a "right way" that should absolutely be followed. It all depends on the sound ...

Re: JBridge Alternatives?
Yeah I know...sucks because I want something for the summer. Just got out of college for the summer so I want to spend some time in music produciton. I am just really getting sick of the 64 and 32bit issues. Maybe I will have to find the money for it at some point.

JBridge Alternatives?
I am using Ableton and I have issues because it obviously does not see any 64bit vst/i(s). Does anyone know an alternative to Jbrigde...I know it is cheap already but I am on a really tight budget at the moment.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Good dubstep bass synths?
cuz FM probably doesn't rly sound good with complex waveforms as carriers. modulate Chrome with Roughmath or whatever, it'll likely reduce it to near-white noise. If you wanna see what happens with complex waves + FM you can test it out in Reason's Subtractor
Yes I know but using one complex ...
