Webstep

I have no idea what that title is about, just came off the top of my head. Anyway, tear me a new one. This is one of my first tracks to come together and its rather rough, but let me know what I did well and did not do well. *Mixed only on headphones* Thanks mangs :w: http://soundcloud.com/trent1331...

Re: Nozeak - Some Random song/ Feedback please.

Like the ambient vibe but I feel like the kick build up is sort of standard and a played out idea. The kicks themselves are cool, they kinda pop out at ya. I like the sound of your lead, but not a huge fan of wobblefests. (no offense intended). You could add a melody in there somewhere too. Maybe so...

Re: Damn Right [dubstep]

Like the kicks sound/timbre in the second track. You should change up the glide rate on a lot of those synth leads, give it a more flowing vibe instead of the quick instant change. I feel like the melody would benefit greatly from that.

Re: NEW TUNES FROM ME!!! FEEDBACK NEEDED!!!

The vibe on that first one is dreamy man! The tight clap fits perfectly. All those fx are pretty brilliant too. Like the spacey feel.

Re: Trying to make YOUR OWN SOUND

Nice track man! Diggin that synth that comes in at :30

I do agree with above, you should make it a bit more crunchy throughout. Very groovy stabs around :50 :)

Re: Happiest moment in dubstep?

So jealous of you all. Living in a relatively rural part of the mid/south USA, I never get the chance to see people like Mala, Loefah, DMZ, Kromestar, Sukh Knight, Skream, Distance etc.. I drive anywhere from 2-5 hours (5 hours being Dallas TX) for the average show which always happen to be loaded w...

Re: Looking to get into production, but have a few questions

As many people will tell you, you NEED nothing more than software and effort to produce. One of the biggest pieces of hardware to help you produce, in my opinion, is a good set of speakers/monitors & good headphones for comparison. If you don't know how to play a keyboard/piano, the midi control...

Re: Summer Production!!!!!!! shhheeeiiiiiit

I don't know how well you can schedule creativity. Just do what feels right at the time brah. Tho you could try and do the tune-a-week thing. This more or less. You can schedule practice, but you can't really control when something gold comes out. There's no algorithm for being creative.. Just figu...

Big Chocolate was the first dubstep act that I saw perform live..

Brostep or not, he's an extremely cool dude in person and has an awesome stage presence. :W:
