Re: Sennheiser 280 HD Pro - Good or Bad?
I just got some Sennheiser 280 HD pro headphones for christmas, and I like their sound over all. They are flat response, so I assume they are good for monitoring/mixing. I have heard nothing but good about them on youtube reviews, but I want some more input, from producers on the DSF! I have the sa...

Re: Vocoders
Hardware or software? Paid or free? If paid, what's your budget? Software. Either. And if I had a budget, i'd say around $250. What DAW are you in, does it come with a stock vocoder? FL. And it does. But it's kinda shit. Vocodex sounds kinda..."meh". Really? I find Vocodex to be very powe...

Re: Question on Trap tracks
LOL subbass and a long tailed 808 is definitely overkill. you will eat up all of your headroom with that combination and it won't sound good. here's a secret though... short tailed 808s and side chained bass sounds pretty dope ;) :W: this one People should take note from this guy, it is definitely ...

Re: Question on Trap tracks
Bass is sort of wonky in the since it perfers to be a lone mono source. Having multiple deep basses causes it to phase. You could sidechain your subbass to duck whenever your 808 hits. You can also tune and play your 808 like a sub in a sampler. thank you for the advice on throwing the 808 in a sam...

Re: Question on Trap tracks
The 808 kick is the sub in trap songs, I usually make some 808 like stuff in massive, so I have more control over the decay and stuff of the amplitude. thats what I kind of figured, thanks man. I attempted to make an 808 kick in massive once It worked but I might give that a go again. Thanks for ch...

Re: Skrillex is a sampler
Did Shrillex go by another alias/name previous to his breakthrough? Not that I know of. He messed around with producing before hand whilst he was in FFTL, found a sound, rolled with it and it took off. he's been fuxing around with edm since his teens, he was in FFTL, then started doing his solo shi...

After googling, youtubing, and dsf search I can't seem to find the answer nor can I figure a good way of putting it to search. and it seems rather dumb of me not to knowing this I'm using a legal version of FL Studio 10, I recently tried to update to 10.0.6 i believe to try and check out performance...
