QuNexus does something kind of similar. I don't have one but I've been contemplating picking one up, they look pretty badass.

Re: something like beatunes
Sure you've got java all updated and shit? The installer runs off of a .jar file, so maybe that's what's up with it.
Actually, after a quick google search, check out this thread: http://www.mixshare.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/Y ... 1298613924
They explain how to fix the problem you're having.

Re: What laptops do you use
Until Mac cuts their retail prices by at least 1/3 no one is ever going to convince me it's worth the money. I've never had stability or major system issues since Windows 2000/XP. I have a kick ass desktop and a decent laptop for 1K less than some of you paid for those mac books! ;p

Yeah, but once you have the sound the way you want it, you can flatten it (bounce it to audio) and you can put the compressor back on.RmoniK wrote:When you freeze a track, you freeze all of it's plugins, and there's no way to add anything to it after freezing.

That's true. The videos helped me out when I first started using Ableton though, so I figured I'd throw it out there.Electric_Head wrote:A tutorial for some odds n ends maybe but you learn by being hands-on.itzDetrimental wrote:You should check out ARTFX's tutorials on youtube.

If you're not retarded you'll have virus protection on your PC.daeMTHAFKNkim wrote:Of course there's viruses on MACs but it ranges in the hundreds or thousands and pretty much impossible to get one unless you're a retard. The PCs have millions.
