i know this is an old thread but if you havent gotten those moulded earbuds yet, I would consider buying some pivot cup cans. I have some Audio-technica ATH-M50s and they have the pivot cups which are great because you can just flip one side up and be able to hear both songs you are trying to mix ...

gotten similar to his synth but not close enough.. how would you guys go about it?

The 'random' pluck is common in this style of dubstep, its just differently presented alot of the time. But thanks for the advice, I had something along those lines, but I just i need to just mess with my filters and vsts long enough to find it.

in D1 Greazy, he uses a pluck synth that just sounds so incredible. I cant emulate it. Any suggestions?
