Re: How to add variation to your track

When saying sound design do you mean sound design as in making all of the sounds and then the structure as the placement?

Yeah. We all like music for different reasons, but do you like songs where its like for one bar the bass in interesting? I bet not. It is the motion, the pauses, all the ...

Re: How to add variation to your track

(structure wise not sound design wise)

This is really important. Sound design and structure really are the same thing, but you can change their sort of balance as you are working. Getting the skeleton of a song done FIRST, and then focusing on the sound design can be really effective as once you ...

Re: How to add variation to your track

you learn with practice and finishing songs, there's no magic fast forward button to this
don't focus on trying to make a song like skrillex (hell he has a decade just in the professional realm of music on you, and i'm guessing quite a bit of practice before that), or trying to upload songs to ...

Re: How to add variation to your track

If u can't be a creator, be an editor. Create a bunch of content for your switch ups and just pick what works best.

Also check out brostep forum. It may be more suited to your style.

It's not that I can't create its that I'm just still learning and ran into a bump into the road. Not givin up ...

Re: How to add variation to your track

well maybe if you posted a sample of what you have and what you want to achieve (and asked politely) you would get the resonse you want. no one can help you if you don't give us something to work with

Please do tell me how the original post was rude, or I was being in any way not polite? And it ...

Re: How to add variation to your track

Whatever. I'm done with this forum every time I ask a simple question I always get a dickhead response. I wasnt fucking asking you to make a song for me, I was asking for suggestions on how I could improve because its something I struggle with.

Re: How to add variation to your track

no one can explain how to be creative to you. dont try to label your track in a specific genre, and certainly dont try and copy what skrillex does. do what you think sounds good to you. mess around with some synths and try to get an idea, then build off of it. EXPERIMENT

I'm not asking someone to ...

How to add variation to your track

Hey,

So because I know I'm going to get flamed for what I'm about to say I mineaswell explain. I used to make Dubstep a lot but mostly the kind under the Skrillex style I guess? So that's the best way to describe it but I'm a perfectionist and if I found something wrong with my song I'd delete it ...

A way to change the tempo during the song?

The title sounds dumb but please take a second to read before you flame. I've been working really hard to make a sick intro for my dubstep track since it is hard to find good tutorials on how to make intros, but on 130-135 tempo its way too fast for the intro and I want it much slower. I found at ...

Melodic dubstep help

These days (most) of the dubstep I hear is jumped into really quick and just all about wobbles, I prefer a different kind where it starts off the song more melodic. I already know how I want to do most of my song but I really seem to be struggling with one part, which is transition from one part of ...
