Re: Mits - Patat

Hahaha that sample xD I think the vocal is annoying if you ain't dutch. The machine gun synth is pretty cool, but a bit repetitive now. And the song is just not complete, but it has definitely potential.

Hope that helps

Lounge/Banger dubstep track

Hi this is a new project of mine. The style is a bit different (it's relaxing and aggressive at the same time) and was wondering if you think it vibes or not. Other feedback is also appreciated ;-)

Please let me know what you think:

Electro track with dubstep-feel

Hi everyone, this is one of my newest projects. I was wondering if you guys could have a listen and tell me what you think. I really want to improve so feedback would be great! Genre isn' t dubstep but still has some elements in it that also would fit in a dubstep track, hope that isn't a problem. H...

Not enough scissors (Experimental Dubstep)

This is one of my newer projects. I know it's far from perfect so I was wondering if you guys could give some feedback.

Don't know if it's actually dubstep. But it's experimental for sure.

Have a listen and tell me what you think:

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you that the synth gets a bit annoying after a while.

How loud is your volume while producing?

I'm always wondering what is better to do while producing. Set your volume really loud trough your monitors, so it's better to hear any sound that's going on. Or limiting your volume so, for example, you can avoid that it's sounding worse on a lower volume. I guess both are necessary, but what are y...

Risky road

Last project of mine, best track I made so far. It still doesn't sound like a professional production IMO. So I was wondering if you guys could have a listen and tell me what's not good about it. http://soundcloud.com/cruel-insanity/risky-road-2 It's not literally dubstep, more like drum&bass, s...

Mind Fight - Moments (Dubstep/Complextro)

This is one of my recent projects. I know that it's definitly far from a perfect production. So I was hoping to get some feedback to help me improve.

Have a listen and reply if you want ;-)

Re: Sidechaining, for more clean drums.

Yes the sidechaining is allready making my drums deffinitly more clear and giving it more punch. And i'm practicing and experimentating a lot right now.

That's why I made this topic, to get some inspirational tips.

Sidechaining, for more clean drums.

I'm trying to use sidechain now for while, but some things are still kinda magic for me. (I'm using ableton btw) For example, the settings of the attack, threshold, release and the gain. Where does it depends on? Like, does my subbass need different settings then my bass lead? Or will it sound bette...
