There's some really good trap out there (even though the genre is SO saturated now), but there are some songs that just don't need trap remixes. Even pro's do it. In Zeds Dead's Essential Mix that dropped early in the spring they did a trap VIP of their song Adrenaline and it sucked, and I'm a huge ...

I use Ableton's compressor. It gets the job done but I haven't really explored plug-in compressors.

You don't need to buy Excision or Datsik ear plugs, those are probably just branded and you'll be paying premium for that only. :)
