The point of using Renoise over other DAWs is its workflow. It's much quicker and flexible, especially if you're using samples. You don't have to spend much time automating this and that using your mouse and doing prepwork on samples. If you want to microcut a sample, you can use keyboard commands ...

I use Renoise. At first i just bought is because it was cheap, but now I have fallen in love with it.
Things I like.
1. The tracker interface makes everything seem more orderly and logical

You have to be shitting me, for music production its a Mac & PC game my friend. Dont try getting all im uber linux on us, their audio support blows and you know it. Just saying, it feels like people these days need to drop a "I'm using linux, and its better than you" bomb recently ...
