Re: OnlyBoots - Duchy (Classical Dubstep)
Blazer! What up skro?! It sucks they shut down UKF, but this isn't bad. The support is much appreciated mates! I think they're making a new forum on the site at some point, i'm doubting they'll keep our old post counts and shit but i'll most likely be signing up again ha, and yeah this forum isn't ...

Hey man, not spoke since the ukf forum went down haha, good to hear new stuff from you
Left a comment on soundcloud, but to summarise here; a track that shifts from piano to electronic to filthy dubstep takes skill and effort to pull off, but i think you got it

Re: Hardware question, soundcards
Pretty much, and its converters allow for things like recording and then playing back very high quality audio at 192khz or so that a computer normally couldn't handle. That's also not very common. 88.2khz & 96khz audio is used a bit more though. I guess you could say it always 'processes' the a...

Hardware question, soundcards
For my music production at the moment i'm using my laptop's built-in soundcard, which does it job up to a point, but can strain when i'm using a lot of channels in my daw I'll be getting an external soundcard at some point, but out of curiosity my question is; will it improve the sound quality of a ...

Re: Metal Sharks [House/Dubstep hybrid]
Im feeling the ideas you got on this one. I think the pattern work on the drums is really good. Only thing i would say is to bring the drums up as I feel the bass is kind of overpowering them. If the drums had a bir more presence, maybe the kick hitting harder and the snare a tad louder it would gi...

Re: Hi. I'm new here. Can some please give me some critical
i just think if you changed up to a sound that is so played out its almost unbearable to hear anymore. I don't understand this :| I thought the synthesis was quite good actually, except from occasionally it faded out or got quieter, but this is the most imaginative way i've heard sample and hold be...

Re: Hi, I use a limiter on all channels. How does my tune so
Please let me know how my mix is, I haven't heard of anyone using a limiter on every channel before and may be "doing it wrong", but my ears tell me otherwise... just let me know what you think. You've answered your own question there mate, if your ears are telling you it sounds fine then...

Re: Gunnar - Untitled (Deep, Dark, Minimalish) - Feedback
Dude, this is sick I can't exactly explain the one I mean, but one of the atmospheric noises you've got going is cool, the deep 'oh oh' :L Reminds of a soundtrack of an old ps1 game, Abe's Oddysee haha, used to love the ambient soundtracks they had on that game I hope you finish this, if you do let ...

Re: Rate and tell me what I can do to get a less boring soun
your snare sounds a little muffled :( This, keep those drum hits loud and 'on top' of the mix at all times, even if you had the most epic wobble and drop ever, no rhythm just makes it noise. Your main synth seems swallow everything up, that 'whirring' synth that plays alongside it sounds kinda fain...

Re: WIKYD - SMOOTH (ORIGINAL, WIP) F4F
Don't really know what to say that hasn't already been said tbh, but i've just got to add I can see why you wrote 'original' in the title haha, this is a proper powerful uplifting tune. Really good stuff man, but yeah just turn up that snare, and the intro is epic

Re: THE KIDNAPPIN KLASS EP - feedback returned
The first one I agree with what else has been said here, the vocals are kinda annoying >.< The second track, I think would be sick to hear come on in the club :D I actually like it, sick intro, good work mate Third track has another cool intro, but the rest of the tune I can't say is to my taste >.>...

http://soundcloud.com/blazed-productions/blaze-metal-sharks-clip A hefty clip of a new track i'm working on, 120bpm dubstep tune, if you could even call this dubstep, but either way it's shaping up nicely I reckon >:D Please leave feedback if you think there is something that could be done better o...

Re: Kid Kong - Let it ring (some different 808 trap shit)
Cant really say i'm a fan of this new 'trap' stuff, but this isn't bad man, although it does kinda feel like one long build up to something fu*cking awesome, but then it never happens :/ Just my thoughts, but in the second half i'd perhaps make it a bit more 'mad', not to say you need to add loads m...

I reckon the same as said above, but I don't agree with what he said about the 'robot' synths, I think the sound design is pretty good tbh
Good track mate, not a whole lot bad I can say about it imo

Re: Blaze - The Experiment (Drumstep/Dubstep)
Sounds like everything is reverb'd. The synths are missing a lot of midrange grunt. Try getting some CamelCrusher on your synths. It will definitely make everything sound better/phater right away. Hmm, I agree that the main synth (the 'in-your-face' one haha) could be a little grittier, but everyth...
