I think it's because of the sidechaining....still messing around with that. Didn't know FL Studio had it built into the mixer.

Which one, the first or the second one? I know the first one is really piercing, but the second one as well? I'm trying get this mixdown stuff perfected.

Ok, I think I fixed it, but I didn't save my file prior to exporting....so I couldn't recreate what I had did in the original.

I think I did better with the mixdown, but now I think the kick is a little too heavy.

I'm still an extreme novice when it comes to things like that, I'll have to refer to some tutorials to see how I would go about sidechaining. Thank you for the tips though.

I have been having that common issue with my kicks, as you have noted, they do not have enough punch. Any suggestion as to how I can make them more prominent?

Dude I'm digging this big time! I'm still trying to get those screams and synths going, and funny thing is I'm going to do the DKC2 haunted forest, or at least try to, but my dubstep skills are pretty weak still. Check out this track for instance, it's from Ninja Gaiden 3 Stage 2. Not much going on ...
